In this workshop you will explore different painting techniques to decorate ceramic baubles. Unleash your inner child with inky splatters, have a go at dip-dye or get creative paintbrush. You can even try out personalising one with lettering using guides supplied during the workshop.

This workshop doesn't require any art or calligraphy experience, just an open mind to have some fun (and get a little messy).

  • 3 ceramic baubles and gold ribbon for you to decorate and take home

  • 1 complimentary glass of festive bubbles (alcoholic & non-alcoholic options available)

  • Guidance from Milly throughout the workshop

  • A variety of paint decorating techniques to try out

  • Basic lettering guides if you wish you personalise your bauble

  • Complimentary personalisation from a professional calligrapher (1 bauble only)

The Ducking Stool, Christchurch

The workshop will be held at The Ducking Stool in the heart of Christchurch, a charming historic venue with plenty of local character. Please note that, unfortunately, the building is not wheelchair accessible due to its listed status and original architectural features. There are several public car parks nearby, including the Bank Close and Saxon Squarecar parks, both just a short walk away. For those travelling by public transport, Christchurch train station is approximately a 10-minute walk from the venue, and there are regular bus services stopping close by in the town centre.

  • No need to bring a thing! Your ticket includes 3 ceramic baubles for you to decorate and take home. All painting tools will be supplied for you to use throughout the workshop.

  • Yes! A complimentary glass of Prosecco (or a non-alcoholic drink), as you immerse yourself in the Christmas spirit, with the option to purchase more drinks throughout the evening.

  • Yes, there are several public car parks nearby, including Bank Close and Saxon Square, both within a short walk of the venue.

  • Christchurch train station is about a 10-minute walk away, and there are regular bus services that stop in the town centre close to The Ducking Stool.

  • Tickets are non-refundable if cancelled within 7 days of the event. Cancellations made more than 7 days in advanceare eligible for a full refund.
    If you can’t attend, you’re also welcome to transfer your ticket to another person, just let us know their name ahead of time so we can update the guest list.
